“ The place is really neat! We got shrimp scampi, and it was okay. We got the tater tot casserole for an appetizer, and it was awesome! The drinks were delicious, too. Overall, we had a great time! ”
“ So, I made the trip all the way from St. Cloud, Minnesota, to celebrate my birthday – and it was totally worth it! I was drawn in by the amazing photos and reputation, and let me tell you, it lived up to the hype. Plus all the hidden unicorns were fun to look for. The food was incredible! Seriously, the medallions and shrimp were cooked perfectly – just how I like them. And those piped mashed potatoes? Don't even get me started! The whole presentation was beautiful, too. To top it all off, the warm brownie dessert was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. The waitress was super friendly and the atmosphere was just fantastic. Thanks for making my birthday so special! ”
“ It was so unique. You go downstairs to this amazing place, and it just feels good! The service was so incredible. Then the food was outstanding! The atmosphere was so inviting. I suggest reservations as we were seated right away. I was watching the bartender make these amazing drinks, and she looked like she loved what she was doing. Great place to unwind and so much ambiance! ”
“ You walk down Monroe street, and approach an interesting brick building and catch a whiff of a wonderful amalgamation of scrumptious smells. So you step through the door and wander down to the cobblestone basement to find a room full of trinkets and paintings and somewhat reminiscent of a unicorn Renaissance. The words Wilkommen painted on the header high over the wet bar. The menu, a plethora of savory tongue teasing morsels that aroused the senses. Strong drinks, tasty and twisted. Service, friendly and fun and beautiful smiles abounding. We had a great time and came back with friends. Both trips were wonderful! One of my new favorites in downtown Spokane. ”
“ I got the surf and turf and the garlic bread appetizer. I'm now addicted to that bread. Excellent drinks and cozy atmosphere. My new favorite place to eat as I network with clients talking about their website design needs in Spokane. ”
“ Unparallel interior. Medieval adjacent ... stone walls high wood paneled ceilings, rustic chandeliers and the right kind of framed kitschy hangings in all the right places. It's fun and fascinating to be in here. Interesting craft cocktails -- had the Morgana with extra prosecco -- with compelling names. Solid sides--had the sour cream and chives mashed potatoes (could honestly have used more sour cream, butter, and salt tonight-- maybe just an off night?) and excellent deviled eggs piled high with a lovely touch of cheese crisps. Would order the deviled eggs again; the mashed potatoes not so much. Also ordered the peanut butter banana pie. That was a very nice texture and not too sweet. The bananas had been slightly Bruleed...and that was delicious. Really loved the high ceilings and the brick and stone walls. Comfortably welcoming atmosphere. Katie was a great bartender. ”
“ Amazing place to grab a bite and a drink. Katie made a great whiskey sour and recommended some small bites. Dakota in their kitchen did a phenomenal job. Flavors were amazing. ”
“ Tried out the Gilded Unicorn for the first time for restaurant week. The clam chowder was a hit for appetizers, both main courses were delicious the Cougar Gold fettuccine with Cajun chicken was enough for 2 meals and tasted amazing. For desert the fried cookie dough with ice cream was rich and a great way to end the meal. The restaurant is unique and the service was good! I will be back again! ”
